Bryan Prior is an analyst in Acquisitions at the Department of Defense, where he works on Congressional Issues. He spent his year as a Dutko Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute(AEI) researching and editing articles and books of renowned scholar, Michael Novak. At AEI he dealt with a variety of public policy questions from the debate on minimum wage, the success of the Iraq War, to separation of church and state. At Tufts University, Bryan studied International Relations (IR) and Political Theory and worked with a coalition of students and professors to rewrite the IR curriculum ensuring a more directed core education for future Tufts IR students.

Moving forward, Bryan intends to focus on foreign policy questions in Southwest Asia by working in policy offices in both the State and Defense Departments—and potentially even future federally elected officials.

Bryan is the author of the article Measuring a Teacher's Worth, published in The American, Feb 9, 2007:

The Dutko Fellowship provides the ideal opportunity to successfully settle inside the beltway. The Fellowship is welcoming, flexible, and career enhancing—especially for those interested in making a difference in the public-sector. Entrance into power politics in D.C. is no easy task for those from humble— let alone apolitical— backgrounds. The Fellowship provides the opportunity for ambitious, politically-minded graduates to break onto the political scene with a flash. Support from the past fellows, Deb Jospin, and Dutko Worldwide provide a plethora of political prospects.
