Marcus Veazey heads Dutko’s office in Atlanta, Georgia. Marcus came to Dutko Worldwide in 1999 from the office of US Senator Paul D. Coverdell (R-GA) and has worked with the Georgia and Southeastern Congressional delegations for a decade. Marcus has developed relationships with many staff and officials in the Southeast over the years and is uniquely positioned to assist our clients with issues in the region and with the delegations in Washington. With extensive experience working with state and federal governments, Marcus focuses on building partnerships between the government and the private sector and cultivating relationships between clients and policy makers at all levels of government.

His understanding of state and federal government offers our clients a unique perspective on creating strategies that address their needs at the local, state and federal levels.

Marcus’ clients have included vendors to state and federal governments, industry trade associations, foreign investors and not for profit organizations. Marcus has worked closely with organizations such as the Republican Governors Association where he serves on the national Finance Committee, Republican Mayors and Locally Elected Officials, the White House as well as federal and state Agencies across the country. Marcus also works with many of the firm’s clients with interests in the southeastern states.

Marcus has a Bachelors Degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. He and his wife Emily live in Atlanta, GA with their daughter Majorie.
