Chris Krebs serves as Vice President at Dutko Worldwide, and helps lead the Dutko Global Risk Management business division. Chris is focused on providing homeland security, critical infrastructure protection, and risk management consulting services to the private and public sectors, both domestically and internationally.
Previously, Chris served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection, United States Department of Homeland Security. Chris provided policy analysis, counsel, and support to the Assistant Secretary on all matters related to the protection of the Nation’s critical infrastructure and key resources. In that role, Chris was also responsible for the coordination of all Office of Infrastructure Protection international activities, both bi-lateral and multi-lateral – most notably contributing to two NATO Civil Emergency Planning Committees, as well as leading the development and negotiation of a Critical Infrastructure Protection engagement strategy between the US and a key foreign partner. Chris also played an integral role in the development of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards.
Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Chris received his Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law. A 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia, he also holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science. Chris, an Atlanta, GA native, resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife, Emily.
