As Vice President, Amy brings a solid background in managed healthcare, new business development and Democratic politics to Dutko's State and Local practice. Her understanding of the intersection between the private and public sectors gives Dutko Worldwide's clients a unique advantage.

Previously, Amy was Vice President of Government Affairs & Strategy for the largest, privately held, managed behavioral healthcare company that covered 22 million lives and held large scale Medicaid contracts in 14 states. She served as the primary liaison between corporate and the state and local government clients. Additionally, Amy was responsible for cultivating new business opportunities at both the state and federal levels and establishing a long range strategic plan for further expansion into both arenas. In this role, Amy worked extensively with governors and their staffs, especially Democratic governors and the Democratic Governors Association (DGA). She continues to serve on the Finance Committee of the DGA.

Prior to her work in managed care, Amy was the President of Maxwell Consulting, a Washington, D.C. based political fundraising firm that worked exclusively with Senate Democrats. Her clients included Senators Dodd, Feinstein, Rockefeller and Bayh as well as the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Amy was also a leading fundraiser for the Hillary for President Campaign in 2007. Her political activities continue with involvement in the Democratic National Committee as well as the DGA.

Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration with a minor in Economics from Elon College in North Carolina.
