Joe Jaso comes to Dutko Worldwide after serving as Director of Government Affairs for the Republican National Committee where he directed the RNC’s efforts on Capitol Hill and with State & Local elected officials. Given his understanding of both the federal and state & local process, Joe brings innovative ideas and solutions to Dutko Worldwide Clients.
Prior to becoming Director of Government Affairs, Joe served as the Division’s Deputy Director with primary responsibility of State and Local elected officials. In 2000 Joe led an effort on behalf of the RNC at the state legislative level, which targeted legislative chambers for defense and for pick up. The effort resulted in capturing a majority of legislatures across the country. Additionally, he created the Republican Attorneys General Association and the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association.
Joe is a veteran of Presidential campaigns and has also been Director of Political Education and Training at the RNC. He began his career on Capitol Hill in the office of Congressman Henry Bonilla (TX-23) who represents his hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
Joe has an MBA from Marymount University and undergraduate degree in Business from Virginia Tech. He is married to Lisa Jaso and they have two children.
