Karen A. Tramontano, is a Principal at Dutko Worldwide who works primarily with Dutko Global Advisors. Karen served as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff to President Clinton from 1997 to 2000. Ms. Tramontano's White House portfolio included economic and financial issues involving U.S. Treasury, Labor and Commerce, international trade policy issues concerning the WTO, OECD and other multilateral institutions and public policy issues involving the World Bank.
Additionally she managed President Clinton’s international visits, including trips to India, Pakistan and Viet Nam. In 2001 she served as Chief of Staff for President Clinton’s transition, establishing his non-profit work and presence in New York.
Ms. Tramontano is Founder and President of the Global Fairness Initiative, a non-governmental organization that facilitates stakeholder dialogues and implements international projects incorporating social and economic policy priorities. Ms. Tramontano also serves as Senior Advisor to Juan Somavia, Director General of the International Labor Organization.
