Lou co-directs our new financial services practice and has long been a member of the telecommunications and information technology team at our firm.
From 1991-1994, Lou served as legislative counsel to Congressman Alex McMillan (R-NC) with responsibility over issues before both the House Telecommunications and Finance Subcommittee as well as the Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Competitiveness Subcommittee of the House Commerce Committee. Lou began his political career working on the 1982 Republican gubernatorial campaign in New York State and subsequently as a Field Director of Citizens for America.
Lou has a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from Vanderbilt School of Law.
