As Vice President, Renée brings an in-depth understanding of the federal procurement process and policy to Dutko Worldwide. Prior to joining Dutko, Renée served as the senior political aide and policy analyst in the acquisition policy shop within the White House’s Office of Management and Budget. While at OMB, Renée played a lead role in the oversight of large and interagency contracting vehicles in the areas of telecommunications and information technology. Another major area of focus for Renée at OMB was driving policy and implementation for public-private competitions known as A-76 or competitive sourcing. Currently, Renee helps lead the Fair Competition Coalition, a joint effort of thirty-eight trade industry trade associations to advocate for fair and consistent policies in support of public-private competition and the President’s Management Agenda.
Prior to OMB, Renée wore multiple hats while working in the Office of the Administrator at the U.S. General Services Administration. While her primary focus was on acquisition-related matters such as program development and suspension & debarment, Renee was often asked to take on a myriad of assignments ranging from serving as the GSA representative on a Matricula card interagency working group to being the lead coordinator for GSA’s first bilateral meeting with its Canadian agency counterpart.
Before coming to Washington, D.C. Renee worked on Phen-fen and Asbestos cases at Balch & Bingham, LLP and worked as a volunteer for various campaigns and political events.
