Scott Chesson serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Dutko Worldwide. Before joining Dutko in 2007, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the Washington Speakers Bureau in Alexandria, Virginia.
His professional background has been largely devoted to growing new or changing companies to their fullest potential. While at the Washington Speakers Bureau, Scott led the acquisition of a new division in 2006 and pioneered the growth initiative. As CFO of the Focus Agency, Scott led the organization to profitability within the first year of leadership, following four previous, consecutive quarters of losses. Before becoming a CFO, Scott held several finance and accounting positions at both IBM and American Airlines. He began his career as a Naval officer.
Scott received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and his Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He currently lives in Alexandria with his wife Gail and his two sons, Patrick and Kevin.
