Joshua Ian Rosenstein joined Dutko Worldwide in September 2007, where he serves as Vice President and General Counsel. In that position, Josh coordinates legal and compliance efforts on behalf of the Company.
Prior to joining Dutko, Josh was an attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP and Goodwin Procter, LLP, both in Washington D.C. He brings to Dutko years of experience successfully representing clients in a wide range of matters before local, state and federal courts and agencies, including the Department of Labor, OSHA, the EEOC, the Department of Justice, federal district and bankruptcy courts, and federal appeals courts. Josh has substantive exposure to a variety of industries, including railroads, long-haul shipping, financial services, and high-tech manufacturing. He has significant experience conducting internal audits on behalf of clients and in crafting compliant policies and procedures for those clients. Additionally, Josh has co-taught employment law at the George Washington University Law School. Josh is a frequent lecturer on political ethics and compliance best-practices.
Josh holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from Columbia University, and a law degree from the Yale Law School. While in law school, Josh served as Articles Editor of the Yale Law and Policy Review and was a law clerk to the Democratic Staff of the United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Technology, Terrorism and Government Information. He was a member of Obama for America’s legal voter protection team in Virginia, and has worked with the New York State Democratic Party. Josh served on the Board of Directors of Campaign for a National Majority and is a Fellow of the Ronald H. Brown Center for Politics and Commercial Diplomacy. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to appear before a number of federal district and appellate courts.
