Arthur Silverman is the General Counsel and a Vice Chairman of Dutko Worldwide. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and Cornell Law School, he began his career as Washington Counsel for the California wine industry. He later became a partner in two major Washington law firms.

The combination of a legal and business background has served him well in providing federal representation and strategic advice to a host of high profile clients, including large companies, trade associations, government entities, and prominent individuals.

Most recently, he has been the coordinator of the much publicized and successful tobacco buy-out legislation as well as a leader in the winning effort to restore full funding to a major federal program for small and medium-sized manufacturers.

Arthur’s special areas of expertise include appropriations, taxation, defense, co-coordinating coalitions, and complete representation of the needs of companies, non-profit groups, associations, and municipalities.
