Steven Palmer is a Vice President at Dutko Worldwide. In addition to managing Dutko’s Colorado office Steven is a valuable addition to Dutko’s national practice, including our State and Local team, Government Markets and federal practices. He is an experienced and well-connected government affairs’ professional with over 18 years of success in multi-state and federal government relations, lobbying and campaign management.
Prior to joining Dutko, Steven served as managing partner of a prominent Denver-based lobbying firm. He’s held leadership positions in state government affairs within the pharmaceutical industry for PhRMA, Bayer and TAP. He’s also served as Director of Government Affairs for a software start-up and served as campaign manager for both congressional and statewide initiatives. In the early 90’s, Palmer served as a senior staff member for retired US Senator Wayne Allard (CO) as well as a Budget Associate on the Congressional House Budget Committee under the leadership of Congressman John Kasich (OH).
Steven is a 4th generation Coloradoan. He and his wife Diana live in Evergreen, CO with their two daughters: Alexandra (Ale) and Elizabeth (Ela).
