Georgia McKeown brings more than 30 years of experience to Dutko Poole McKinley both in government and the private sector. During this time she has developed an extensive network of contacts in government and business.
As Chief of Staff and Deputy Commissioner to Florida’s Secretary of Education, she played an integral role in the state’s transition to a seamless education system incorporating public schools, community colleges, and colleges and universities. She held a key position in the preparation of Florida’s $54 billion budget during her tenure as Chief of Staff to the Appropriations Chairman. Georgia has served in leadership positions with former U.S. Representatives Tillie Fowler, Craig James and Bill Chappell.
She has a strong political background managing congressional campaigns as well as state campaigns for House and Senate members of the Florida Legislature.
Georgia’s background also includes marketing for one of the top-rated engineering firms in the country.
