KCET Exam 2020

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) every year, in order to provide admissions to students in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy and other courses. The admissions to these courses are available in all educational institutions across the state. Due to the unexpected outbreak of Coronavirus, the KCET exam 2020 which was scheduled on the April 22 and April 24, 2020, has been postponed. 

Some of the undergraduate courses that are offered include B. Tech or B.E., B. Arch, BSc., and so on. All the mentioned courses are available in private educational institutions and government institutions of Karnataka state. To get further information about the exam, log on to kea.kar.nic.in   

KCET Question Papers 

Managing time and being able to write answers for all the questions is very important for such entrance exams. Therefore it is advisable for eligible candidates to practise the KCET question papers of the previous years. Solving the question papers familiarizes the students to the exam and prepares them better for the state level exam. Results of students who solved previous year’s KCET question papers, tend to perform better during the entrance exam. Exercising the previous year’s KCET question papers helps in comprehending the basic pattern of the paper and the kind of questions appear in the final test. Apart from this, practising previous year’s KCET question enables candidates to identify their weak and strong areas. KCET Admit Card

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) allots the KCET admit card two or three weeks before the exam, only via online once the candidate has completed registration. The KCET admit card 2020 has been officially postponed, because of the unexpected Coronavirus outbreak. The new KCET admit card 2020 will be released on the official website shortly. Details mentioned in the KCET admit card 2020 will include name, date of birth, registration number, exam date and time, candidate’ photo and signature, KCET roll number, exam location and reporting time, KCET examination instructions. 

In order to download the KCET admit card 2020, log on to the website of KCET which is kea.kar.nic.in and click on ‘CET 2020 Hall Ticket Download link’. A new tab will open and ask for the candidate’s date of birth and KCET application number. After this, the candidate can download the KCET admit card 2020, print a copy and future references.
