THE OLSEN TWINS FOR BIK BOK

Throughout my entire life, I have followed the Olsen twins career, right from ‘The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley’ and ‘Two of a Kind’ – I even spent hundreds of dollars in Walmart one time when they released a clothing line with them on a holiday to Florida. Olsen Twins denim shorts, check. Olsen Twins makeup, check. Even Olsen Twins Ray-Ban Sunglasses, check! It’s safe to say I’ve always been a huge fan, and when I grew up a little more and started understanding real Fashion, they gave me a reason to love them even more by becoming serious (and seriously talented) designers for their own label ‘The Row’, followed by their other label ‘Elizabeth and James’. I can’t afford to shop at either of those brands, so I was very happy to hear that they’ve gone into collaboration with Bik Bok – a Scandinavian high street brand. The collection is inspired by the ‘Scandinavian It Girl’ and ranges from £20 to £450. Unfortunately, they only ship to Sweden and Norway for the time being, but no fear, if you are a fellow Londoner like myself there is a store on Oxford Street. They also have a store locater on their website for anyone else who is dying to shop them!

Another ruling autumn/winter trend that is set to dominate at full force is the good old army camo look. Last year, camo and khaki was everywhere (remember the camo army jackets at Topshop and the very popular khaki jacket with leather sleeves at Zara?) and I think this year will be no different from what I see with the Kilian Kerner Senses autumn/winter 2013 release. If you’ve never heard of them before, make sure you remember the name because the collection will be hitting the House of Fraser stores before you know it and ‘Utility Chic’ it is indeed. The first thing I thought when I saw the press release was, what do I wear with it? I bought my military style boots around 5 years ago from River Island when All Saints released their lace-up army boots that people went insane for and it’s safe to say I’m due a new pair of boots, so I’ve scoured the web for all the things I can team with next seasons trend in preparation!
